There is never a dull moment at Big Brill Camp!  We have laid out on a fun-packed weekend of activities for young and not-so-young with everything from yoga and flower wand making to drumming circles, pony rides, and slippy slides.  Check out the detail below of what we have in store.  A downloadable schedule will be available in time for the event to ensure you always know what’s going on when and where so you can plan your weekend just as you like it.

Music & Dance

  • XYZ Drumming Circle

    A Djembe Drumming Circle – led by the experts from XYZ - with the chance to perform on the Big Brill Camp stage! 

  • XYZ Taster Sessions

    The talented team from XYZ will be hosting an all-day Taster Tent where children can explore and have fun playing instruments like drums and guitar. Suitable for all ages. 

  • Feral Voice Choir

    A singing workshop inspired by nature to ground you, lift you, inspire and connect you. No experience required. Suitable for all ages.

Sports

  • Football

    Supervised football training session and matches, with slots dedicated to different ages, will be scheduled throughout the day. No experience required.

  • Rounders

    Teachers vs pupils? Kids vs parents? You decide!  Grab a bat, give it a whack and see if you can get to fourth base, courtesy of Big Brill Camp 2025. Suitable for ages 7+ years.

  • Tug of War

    Hosted by our local tug-o-war  heroes and members of the British national team, this ages-old sport is bound to get the blood pumping and the adrenalin rushing.  Whether competitor or spectator, there’s room for everyone. Suitable for age 10+ years.

  • Cricket

    Who doesn’t love a round of Kwick Cricket in the sunshine?  Sessions aimed at different ages will be scheduled throughout the day.  Don’t fancy playing?  Grab a drink and park yourself on a hay bale to watch instead. No experience required.

  • Tag Rugby

    Give this brilliant non-contact form of rugby a go in one of our sessions, delivered by coaches from Chinnor RFC. Different age group sessions available. No experience required.

Arts & Crafts

  • Flower Crowns

    Using beautiful local blooms from Howe Farm flowers, make a flower crown and dance your way around the festival.

  • Gods Eye

    Create a traditional central american creation with wood and brightly coloured wool to make an all seeing eye!

  • Glow in the Dark Terrarium

    Let your imagination flow and fill your glow in the dark Terrarium with the weird, the wonderful, the beautiful and natural, your choice to decorate and keep forever.

  • Rag Bunting

    Have a go at creating your own festival bunting for your bedroom or garden from the gorgeous fabric used in the Cosy Budha range.

  • Willow Hearts

    Weave local willow from the bushes around beautiful Brill village and adorn them with flowers to make a perfect heart.

  • Clay, Elder Beads and Basket Weaving.

    Get busy with all natural resources and the Ambroise Farm crew to develop new skills and make a selection of forest school jewellery and crafts.

Not to be Missed

  • Pop-up Photobooth

    Don a wig, some crazy clothes and a prop or two, and grab a Big Brill Camp memento with your friends in our pop-up photo booth! Suitable for all ages.

  • Splat The Teacher

    Just 50p to throw a wet sponge at your favourite Brill teacher? Yes please! AND it raises extra money for the school. Win win. Suitable for all ages.

  • Story Time

    One for our younger revellers. Bring down the tempo, get in your PJ’s and cosy up in our gorgeous lounge tent, with a live reading of some of your story favourites from local Actor Emily Shelford. Aimed at those under 7 years.

  • Slippy Slide

    A Big Brill Camp highlight every year. Bring your swimmers (old clothes if you prefer) and let the slippy sliding commence! Goggles optional. Towels advisable! Suitable for all ages. Parent supervision advised.

  • Comedy Club

    Learn how to write and perform comedy, finding the funny in life and your own experiences to be able to deliver stand-up comedy and sketches. 

    Suitable for 6+. 

  • Assult Course

    Shift into a higher gear and come ready to get muddy on the assault course, just in time for the slippy slide to wash it all off!Suitable for ages 7+.

For the Adults

  • Adult Face Painting

    Dressing up is not just for kids!  Get your festival glitter on with a makeover from our resident face painting team.

  • Yoga

    Embrace the day with an uplifting, gentle but reviving class from local yoga teacher, Charley Stockford. No experience required.

  • Cocktail Making

    Whatever your poison… our fabulous cocktail tutors will have you flaring like Tom Cruise in no time. Alcohol optional. No experience required!

  • Silent DIsco

    Sing like no one’s listening. Dance like no one’s watching! Who will win the hearts of the crowd… DJ 1 or DJ 2?! Glow sticks an light-up trainers at the ready for this Big Brill Camp institution. Available both nights til late. Pre-booking with deposit will be required (more info to follow).
